Green can mean two things: money and the environment. Any good business venture takes into consideration how it affects those around them. Here are some things you may want to take into consideration:
- Is there something you can do that may help the environment and make money?
We are all called to be good ‘stewards.’ That means we are supposed to take care of everything we are given. If you get a car, the better you take care of it, the longer it lasts. (Keep that in mind when you get your first car!)
Well, we are given this earth and we need to take care of it. You are given your time and talents. . . your friends and family . . your planet and your purpose. Use them as if they were the only things you have because they may be.
- How will your idea impact the earth? (Waste, Materials Used, Community Affected)
Not every idea is a good one. Some ideas need to be tweaked and take extra effort made to be sure you are doing what is best for everyone. The easy way is not always the easiest way and seldom is it the best way. Don’t ever take shortcuts that cost someone else. Quality is worth the extra effort.
- How will your idea impact the people around you?
Without people, there is no business. Without people, there is no money. Now, with that being said, we are not here to take advantage of people. I have learned that the more you help others, the more successful you will be.
I hope these ideas help you as you start your journey towards being successful. Make sure you share your stories with us on our other pages.
