i am not random, you are

Growing up

Their are 5 different types of “growths”.

  • Intellectual growth. This is basically growing smarter and wiser. In order to grow in this area of life you need study skills.  And the more you know the better your business is going to be. (As long as the knowledge is relevant to the business.)
  • Social growth is to me getting more friends, talking to more people and generally losing all feelings of shyness. To grow in this area of life you need people skills. And if your more social then your businesses name might start to get more known. And it is just cool to get more friends.
  • Emotional growth. This is like the cousin of the social growth area. You need to learn how to process your emotions to learn a lot about this individual subject, check out lylizm
  • Physical growth is pretty simple. This is growing stronger. The bible calls you body a Temple  Treat it that way. Say no too much suguar. Run and do some push-ups. As teenagers we should be doing this already.
  • Spiritual growth is growing toward GOD. Do things like praying and studying the bible will help you grow in this area. It is totally worth it.

Seize The Day

For those of you who don’t know this is my 25th article on Tyloid (yeahhh) and I wanted this article to b special so I picked one of the most important topics I know of. That is  Carpe Diem which is seize the day written in Latin (see  now you now Latin.)  Now the reason this is so important is because so little of us do this. A lot of teenagers are on the computer playing shooting games. (Not that I have anything against you if you do) And a lot  of the times we say “I’ll do that later”. Never say that about something important like getting saved.
The way I try to seize the day is list all the things I need to do today. If you’re not doing anything try and find something productive to do.

CARPE DIEM!

Appearing professional

This is mainly dedicated to someone with a business interview but is important for any formal occasion. Basically there are certain rules that you should follow to be taken seriously.

  1. Dress nicely. I’m talking ironed collard shirt and khaki pants. No shorts, stained shirts, or  pants with holes.
  2. Clean up. Take a shower and shave. Don’t forget deodorant, and remember nothing ruins a interview quicker than B.O.
  3. Use grammar. Don’t use  ain’t, cuz, dog, or anything like that. (But don’t use big words that you don’t know the meaning of.)
  4. Appear organized have everything that you need. (Pencil and paper!)
  5. Sit straight and have respect. NO gum.

With these 5 rules you can succeed.

what to do if some one tell you you’re to young

Well if you have a business or are looking in to stock or anything like that sooner or later someone is going to say “well you’re a little young for that.”  Don’t be discouraged. It is going to happen, but be glad that your doing something that a lot of people didn’t expect you could do. Through out history a lot of famous people were between 12-17. Here our some examples.

  •  Some of the disciples were 12-17
  • Most Native American tribes started their trained to be warriors at 10
  • Their was a pharaoh that ruled over all Egypt at 12
  • In some 3rd world countries 13 years-old know how to use a AK-47

And their are more, if you know of any tell me. If kids like that could do some of the things up their then seeing what kind of market we’re in suddenly seams like child’s play. (no punt intended, well it kind of was) And it is the perfect reason to do your reserch and know about business that way you prove not only can you do it but you have.

Why Apologize?

Apologizing is something that is pretty important these days. Not apologizing could lead to:

Losing friends

Messing up business deals

Make people not like you and then if this happens thin their less likely to use your product.

While apologizing could:

Make you friends

Cause people to want to make deals more often

Cause people to want to buy your product just because they like you.

Now for the most important, how to apologize.

You want to have a good attitude or you look like your being forced. Tell them what you did wrong and just say sorry and kinda of joke around (don’t joke around about the person just kinda of make fun of yourself).  This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT never say something wrong the person did,  or say ”but” because that contradicts the entire apoligy. I’ll give you an example of how I did it this week.

”Dude I’m sorry I called you short. I’m pretty short too.”

I think that forgiving is important.

Don’t say anything is Unforgivable because It says in Philippians 4:13, I can do anything through HIM who gives me strength.” That includes forgiving. I’ve read books about  matadors who forgave their torturers so I think that not returning your favorite CD is forgivable.

Teen Business Central interview

Teen Business Central interviewed a business owner. basically what he said was key for getting customers to come again is…

1. good products

2. cleanliness

3. good service

So focus on the things try to improve them as much as you can.  like if you don’t have good products ask customers their complaints and try to improve on them. If you need to work on cleanliness don’t open your business for customers until you area is clean make it your top priority. And if you need to work on good service have a good attitude, help customers as soon as you can, and try and smile.

Marketing insults

You would have to never watch TV in order to not see the commercials about Mac Vs. PC  you know the ones where Mac talks about PC and how Mac is superior and now many restaurants like Pizza-Hut, Jack in the box, and Sonic are insulting the competition. I encourage you strongly not to do this when market your business. Focus on the good of your company and not the bad of others. If you do this then the consumer will figure out soon enough who is better.

Is there a market?

The thing about business is that there intended to make money either to reinvest, make profit or to help. but before you start a business you have to ask yourself this question “Is their going to be a market?” Like opening up a shop that only sells New York stuff in Texas is not a good idea. Open up a store that will sell something the local public will want to buy. It does not matter if you like it the general public should like it to or else you wont well that much.

Short and sweet

The important thing  about getting your name or your business name out there is to make sure people remember you.

If you’re going to use a newspaper or an  internet site you need to keep it short and interesting and quick so the reader is not bored. The name has to be somewhat relevant to what your business is. You could also just go by your name and go by the power of your own integrity and reputation.

In your ad or logo, use  bold letters and large interesting ( but readable) fonts. Use words like new, awesome, great, best, and amazing. You want to include all of the important information; your business name, how they can contact you, what you do, and how much you cost. Doing all of these things in a short space can be challenging but very incredible important.
