You can do it

I hope you don’t mind if I share a bit from my heart for today’s article. This has really been bugging me so thanks for letting me vent.

I am around teens all the time. I watch them get right to the edge of being successful, only to stop short of their goals. I ask in my head, “what will it take to give them that push to help get them over that bump?”

Teens stand in that time between being a kid and being an adult. I think they miss out on opportunities for two basic reasons: they don’t feel like they can do it and they don’t take action.

Take action on your dreams. No one else will do it for you. One day you will wake up and think, “I wish I had started . . . when I was younger.’ You are young now! Like Nike says, Just Do It!

Success does not offer an engraved invitation. You have to reach out and grab it with both hand and don’t let go till you reach your goals.

If you feel like you can not do it, get someone to encourage you. Find someone who will believe in you. If you can not find anyone, email us! We will encourage you. Find us on Facebook (search for TBC) for a daily dose of success thinking. It may just be the thing you need to get to the next step.

My heart breaks to see teens not reaching their goals. They settle in and get lost in the crowd along with everyone else. They get beat down. They get trampled. They lose who they are by trying to be who everyone thinks they are. Please, do me a favor. If you are one of these teens, email us, facebook us, leave a comment below, . . do something.

One last word, you can take this one or leave it, but I whole heartedly believe it. God made you to be just the person you are. If there is something in you that you want to do, God put it there and He wants to help you achieve it. Trust in Him and he will direct your ways. Give all you have to Him and your plans will succeed. (These last two statements are directly from God’s word, the Bible.)

Thanks for listening. I hope you know somone cares, cause I do!

He is 21, so that is close enough to a teen to be on this page!
